Reviews and Ratings
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Casco Bay. The rooms were gorgeous, and I stayed in a lovely and spacious two-bedroom bi-level suite. The service was top-notch, with extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff who even drove us to the docks on a golf cart. The location was serene, reflecting a fabulous military history, and it's so close to the ferry dock and Portland. The dining experience was delicious, although a bit slow. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful getaway.
The hotel has a lovely location just off the coast of Portland, reflecting a beautiful lobby with organized seating areas. The rooms are uniquely decorated but located at the underground basement level with limited natural light. The service is accommodating and dedicated, but the arrival time of valet service caused some timeline issues. The dining experience, located in a small Bed and Breakfast, was satisfactory but slow. Overall, the hotel offers a wonderful stay with slight drawbacks.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were large, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. They are beautifully decorated and very unique in shape and appointments, not the usual hotel arrangement. The service was fantastic, from being greeted upon arrival to the friendly innkeeper. The location is just beautiful, although there were a few minor hiccups during my visit. The dining experience was good, with delicious food in a small Bed and Breakfast setting. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
The hotel rooms were uniquely designed and spacious, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service was incredibly helpful and nice, although the prices were on the higher side. The location was peaceful and near the ferry dock, but the dining experience was average. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers unique and beautifully decorated rooms, more like apartments than traditional hotel rooms, with lovely sitting areas outside. However, being at the underground basement level might limit natural light and views, noticeable through a tiny casement window. The room layout is refreshing, deviating from the standard rectangular setup.
My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were large, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. They were so clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the very nice outdoor deck with comfortable seating. The service was friendly and very accommodating throughout my visit. The location was right out of a movie, beautiful, and peaceful on an island off the coast of Portland. The dining experience was good, and I particularly appreciated the friendly staff. Overall, a great stay with some minor room for improvement.
